Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join a growing specialist team advising clients across technology, intellectual property, privacy, cyber risk and complex commercial transactions. This role offers a blend of advisory and transactional work, significant client exposure and the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers.

Key responsibilities include:
n
n
- Advising clients on major technology transactions, digital transformation projects and complex sourcing arrangements
n
- Supporting organisations with intellectual property exploitation, data governance, privacy compliance and cyber incident response matters
n
- Assisting clients through procurement processes, commercial negotiations and strategic contracting initiatives
n
- Preparing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements across technology, telecommunications and digital services sectors
n
- Building trusted relationships with corporate and government stakeholders while delivering commercially focused legal solutions
n
- Working closely with senior practitioners on innovative and market-leading matters across the digital economy landscape; and
n
- Providing guidance, mentoring and technical support to junior lawyers as part of a collaborative team environment.

The successful candidate will have:
n
n
- 5+ years' PAEgained within a leading commercial, technology or corporate practice.
n
- Experience advising on technology transactions, intellectual property, privacy, data protection or commercial contracting matters.
n
- Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to provide practical and commercially astute advice.
n
- A demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
n
- Experience mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to a positive team culture.
n
- A genuine interest in technology, innovation and the evolving digital economy landscape.
n
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to manage matters with increasing autonomy.
n
