Job Description

The award-winning Dean Group of Hotels (Walkers Arms Hotel, Largs Pier Hotel, Peninsula Hotel, Kincraig Hotel and Macs Hotel) is looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Coordinator to join our head office team, and bring our hospitality brands to life.

Reporting to the Marketing and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for creating engaging and relevant content, driving growth of venue brands and showcasing memorable guest experiences.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

n

- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels
n
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content, including photography, artwork packs, video, reels, stories, and promotional campaigns
n
- Manage multiple brand accounts while maintaining consistent brand voice and identity
n
- Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, events, and promotions
n
- Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to increase audience engagement and reach
n
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner
n
- Capture and coordinate content creation with venue managers, staff, and external stakeholders
n
- Track performance using analytics tools and provide regular reporting with actionable insights
n
- Collaborate with the marketing team on broader digital marketing initiatives
n
- Assist with the coordination, implementation and delivery of Dean Group events
n




- Assist the Marketing and Operations Manager with relevant day to day tasks, projects and calendar of events
n

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- 2+ years' experience managing social media for hospitality, food and beverage, tourism industries
n
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
n
- Experience creating engaging short-form video content
n
- Proficiency with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media scheduling platforms
n
- Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting
n
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing (highly regarded)
n
- Photography and videography skills are highly regarded
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
n
- The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
n
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable customer experiences
n
