Our Apprenticeship & Traineeship Program provides participants with valuable on-the-job experience and nationally recognised qualifications while working within one of Queensland's largest and most diverse local governments.
Whether you're interested in technology, business administration, parks and gardens, environmental conservation, water operations, civil construction, health and safety, or mechanical trades, you'll gain practical skills while making a meaningful contribution to the Logan community.
Throughout the program, participants have access to structured development opportunities, including training in communication, leadership, resilience, career development, mental health and wellbeing, and workplace skills to support long-term success.

Minimum eligibility requirements To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship with Logan City Council, applicants must:
- Be at least 15 years of age.
- Have completed a minimum of Year 10 education.
- Hold working rights in Australia.
- Not have previously completed the qualification being offered for the position applied for.
- Meet any position-specific requirements outlined during the recruitment process.
