Scrabble, Stories and a Coffee Companion
At HammondCare Darlinghurst, an elegant and well-spoken lady enjoys sharing stories from a life rich with travel, family, and experience. Born in Kenya to English parents, she later lived in the UK before making Australia home. A proud mother of one daughter and two sons, she loves connecting with others and hearing about their lives and adventures.
These days, her eyesight makes reading difficult, but her love of learning and conversation remains as strong as ever. She enjoys watching documentaries, especially those about animals, listening to music, testing her knowledge with trivia, and cheering on the Sydney Swans.
A visit with her might include sharing a coffee and a chat, playing a friendly game of Scrabble, watching an interesting documentary together, or simply enjoying each other's company. She walks with the assistance of a walker and enjoys spending time with people who appreciate positive conversation and a laugh.
For someone who enjoys creating meaningful connections, this is a wonderful opportunity to brighten the week of a friendly and engaging older woman.
