THE ROLE

This is a true build role for someone who would rather create a market than inherit one.

We have the capability and credentials to win ICT work across the Federal Government. What we need is the person to go and win it.

You will open doors, secure contracts and help mobilise the talent needed to deliver. You will have the freedom to make it happen, backed by a commission model that properly rewards what you bring into the business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Win new ICT contract and project work across the Federal Government from the first conversation through to a signed agreement.
- Turn your established network into a live, qualified pipeline.
- Support the sourcing and placement of the right people against the work you win.
- Build lasting client relationships that continue delivering well beyond the first engagement.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Demonstrated Federal Government sales experience, with a proven record of winning ICT contract, labour-hire or professional services work across Commonwealth agencies and/or Defence.

- An established and active Federal Government or Defence network that can convert into live opportunities and revenue.




- A hunter’s track record, with demonstrated success winning new work and achieving or exceeding sales or gross profit targets.
- The confidence and resilience to build a market and pipeline from an early phase.
- Strong commercial acumen and familiarity with professional services commercial arrangements.
- Energy, drive and autonomy, with the ability to take ownership of activity, pipeline and outcomes.
- Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Knowledge of Commonwealth ICT procurement, including BuyICT, the Digital Marketplace, DTA and whole-of-government arrangements, and relevant procurement panels.
- Strong CRM and pipeline discipline, including reliable forecasting and reporting.
- Consultative or solution-selling experience.
- Bid, tender and proposal development experience, particularly for ICT consulting and project-based work.
