Position Summary The Account Manager – Testing and Quality Engineering is responsible for managing assigned client relationships, supporting high-quality service delivery, and growing CloudMarc’s presence across existing and new accounts. The role combines account management, delivery oversight, solid Testing and Quality Engineering knowledge, commercial support, and business development.

Working within CloudMarc’s established Account Management practices, processes, and expected standards, the Account Manager partners with the broader management team. The role requires strong Testing and Quality Engineering knowledge, trusted client relationships, sound judgement, and the ability to coordinate internal experts to develop practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
- Develop a strong understanding of client priorities, challenges, and delivery environments, identifying where CloudMarc can add value.
- Maintain regular client engagement and account management activities in line with CloudMarc’s practices, processes, and expected standards.
- Engage confidently with senior client stakeholders and support executive-level discussions where required.

Service Delivery & Staff Management

- Monitor delivery performance and help ensure high levels of client satisfaction across engagements.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and the overall welfare of CloudMarc staff on-site and offshore.
- Address issues or risks raised by clients or consultants,



resolving where appropriate and escalating when required.
- Collaborate with internal delivery leaders and specialists to support consistent, high-quality service execution.
- Support the recruitment and selection of Testing and Quality Engineering staff, including interviewing candidates and assessing technical capability and client fit.

Business Development & Growth

- Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing accounts, working with internal teams to progress opportunities.
- Perform business development activities to help win new clients and build pipeline through industry relationships, networking, and proactive market engagement.
- Support and prepare tender, RFQ/RFP, proposal, statement of work, and client presentation responses.
- Coordinate with CloudMarc’s cross-functional technical, consulting, and delivery experts to create fit-for-purpose client solutions and articulate CloudMarc’s value proposition.
- Contribute to scope, rate, pricing, and other commercial discussions within agreed parameters and with appropriate management support.

Advisory & Quality Engineering Capability

- Use a strong Testing and Quality Engineering background to provide credible advice and guidance to clients on quality practices and delivery approaches.
- Contribute to discussions around test maturity, automation, CI/CD, DevOps quality integration, and emerging quality practices.
- Bring in relevant CloudMarc specialists where deeper expertise is required and coordinate their contribution to client discussions and solution development.
- Represent CloudMarc at industry events, client briefings, and forums as required.

Governance & Reporting

- Participate in regular governance meetings, providing delivery insights,



risk updates, actions, and performance metrics.
- Maintain appropriate account plans, opportunity pipeline, forecasts, and account reporting in line with CloudMarc requirements.
- Collaborate with the CloudMarc Management on account planning, forecasting, commercial management, key client matters, and escalations.

Key Skills & Experience

- Strong practical background in software testing, quality engineering, or related IT consultancy environments.
- Demonstrated experience in account management, client relationship management, or consulting within enterprise environments.
- Sound understanding of testing lifecycles, test maturity, automation, CI/CD, DevOps testing, and modern quality engineering practices.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior client stakeholders and communicate the value of Testing and Quality Engineering in business terms.
- Ability to interview Testing and Quality Engineering candidates and assess their technical capability, communication skills, and client suitability.
- Experience contributing to tenders, proposals, client presentations, and the development of technology or consulting solutions.
- Experience coordinating consultants and cross-functional teams, with a strong focus on service quality, staff care, and client outcomes.
- Business development capability, with the confidence to identify, pursue, and progress opportunities across existing and prospective clients.
- Sound commercial acumen, with an understanding of scope, rates, pricing, utilisation, and account growth.
