Role Description

This is a part-time remote Accountant role responsible for supporting ISRM Group’s financial operations. The Accountant will perform day-to-day tasks such as recording and reconciling financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. The role includes preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.





The Accountant will collaborate with management to provide accurate financial data, assist with audits, and help improve financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in general accounting, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools; Microsoft Excel).
- Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and basic tax and compliance principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in professional services, consulting, or risk management environments is an advantage.
