We are currently seeking a part-time Accounts Assistant (2–3 days per week) to support our Finance team with the day-to-day processing that keeps our financial records accurate and up to date. You will play a key role in supporting payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general financial administration across the business.

About the role

As an Accounts Assistant, you will join a supportive Finance team within a growing care provider, working from the Cheltenham office to support accurate and timely financial record-keeping across the business. You will play a key role in supporting payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general financial administration across the business.

Key responsibilities

- Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records

- Assisting with payroll processing and payroll data checks

- Processing Accounts Payable invoices

- Assisting with Accounts Receivable and customer account enquiries

- Processing invoices, receipts and payment records





- Maintaining and organising finance and accounting documents

- Supporting the Finance team with other ad hoc duties as required

About you

- Previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration role preferred

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Good working knowledge of accounting/payroll software (e.g. Xero) and Microsoft Excel

- Strong time management and organisational skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
