Start your career in agribusiness

Over 12 months, you’ll gain hands-on experience, work alongside experienced agribusiness professionals and build an understanding of the financial and strategic decisions behind successful farming businesses. You’ll gain practical client exposure, structured training and mentoring, with opportunities to learn across different areas of the SproutAg business.

What you'll experience

Working alongside our Agribusiness Finance team, you’ll develop practical experience supporting farming and agribusiness clients, including:

- Supporting client relationships and day-to-day finance requirements
- Assisting with finance applications, financial information and cashflow analysis
- Participating in client meetings and on-farm visits
- Developing an understanding of lending, credit, risk and compliance
- Building relationships across agriculture and the financial services sector
- Learning how to identify and support new business opportunities





Throughout the program, you’ll receive structured learning and development opportunities, including:
- Dedicated induction and workflow training
- One-on-one mentoring and professional development
- Agribusiness finance and lending experience
- Succession and family business advisory exposure
- On-farm visits and client engagement
- Business consulting and strategic advisory
- Networking opportunities across the agribusiness sector
- Attendance at the annual SproutAg Conference

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for graduates who are motivated to build a long-term career in agribusiness. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Tertiary qualifications in agriculture, agribusiness, business, commerce, finance or a related discipline
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A genuine interest in agriculture and working with farming businesses
