The opportunity

With the company currently experiencing an exciting phase of significant growth into recent airports and regions, our delivery teams will be expanding for additional contracts at RAAF Base Learmonth. ADB Safegate Pty Ltd is looking for experienced, licensed electricians to join our small, close-knit Learmonth team and be part of the future of airfield lighting in Australia.

Working at a critical defense airport like RAAF Learmonth offers an exceptional range of opportunities throughout its growth and evolution, providing exposure to new technologies and ongoing development projects. This role will be on a fixed FIFO 3 & 1, 70-hour / Week roster so that we are able to support live airfield operations and ensure a dynamic and flexible working environment.

Accommodation details:

- Private room with ensuite bathroom, including internet, TV,



and air conditioning.
- Access to gym and sporting facilities, including tennis, soccer, and basketball courts.
- Wet Mess facilities available onsite.
- All meals provided.
- Laundry facilities available onsite, including washing supplies.

Flights & Transportation details:

- Flights From Perth / Learmonth provided.

The successful candidate will likely be given the potential for possible future work at some of our other job sites across WA and Australia.

Your new role

We would love to hear from you if you have airfield lighting experience, (highly regarded but not mandatory). For those who have not worked on an airfield before, our team is ready to provide comprehensive training on the specific contract procedures and installation methods.

The scope of works at RAAF Base Learmonth will include:

- Lights installation (Coring, Slotting, cans and light top installation)
- Cabling + Terminations and SITs install (Primary & Secondary)
- Installation of Approach Path Indicators, Approach Systems, and Illuminated Wind Direction Indicators
- Installation of inground service pits and duct.
- Installation of new CCRs.
- Labelling

You will bring

- A valid WA electrical license




- Must hold a white card (OHS CARD)
- In date CPR, first aid & low voltage rescue training
- A valid driver's license
- Airfield lighting experience preferred, but not mandatory
- A self-starter with a positive and proactive approach
- Great team player and ability to operate autonomously
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
- Healthy attitude and great work ethic

- Committed to meeting deadlines
- Can read and interpret cable schematic drawings and field cable routing diagrams.
