The Position:

We require the services of motivated professionals to join our Breakdown and Preventative Maintenance team. We have service contracts with Local & National business and we need good tradespeople to maintain, service & repair the equipment under our care.

The roles on offer focus on Service/Breakdowns & Preventative Maintenance , but there is also Installation work as well across a range of equipment including: Refrigeration Equipment- Cool & Freezer Room Plant; Airconditioning of Residential split & Split ducted equipment all the way up to large Roof Top Package & chilled water plant. We specialise in office & retail fit outs across all industries.

We are looking for:-

- Junior Refrigeration & Airconditioning Mechanics who want to learn more and work on a wider range of equipment.
- Experienced Refrigeration & Airconditioning Mechanics who enjoy variety of work & want to continue with learning new skills & challenges with in the industry.

Job Descriptions: Maintenance & Breakdown- You will perform a variety of Maintenance & breakdown tasks on a large range of equipment from the residential, commercial & industrial sectors.

The role is primarily in the field, carrying out Proactive repairs, emergency breakdowns, as well as servicing & maintenance of plant & equipment with in the Mackay area.

- Hospital & medical centre work.

Installation work: This includes Refrigeration Condenser units & Cool/Freezer Rm plant; Wall , Cassette & Split ducted units Specialist Experience: Experience in one or more of the following would be advantageous & highly regarded :

- Refrigeration Equipment- Cool/Freezer Rms; Refrigerated Drink & Display cases.
- Commercial/Industrial Chillers; Air Dryers- all brands
- Food Service Equipment- Ice makers, all brands; Taylor freezer & Carpigiani Ice cream equipment; Henny Penny Fryers; General appliances
- Air conditioning- Residential Splits - All types & brands; Commercial Airconditioning - VRF Systems; Package & large Split ducted systems; Open drive large capacity Built up equipment; Medical & Process Cooling Chilled water systems.
- McDonalds Restaurant Equipment Repair & maintenance- experience with equipment such as- Taylor Soft-serve; Henny Penny Fryers; Well Built /Manitowoc Icemakers & Beverage dispensers including BIC & BIM
- Hospital & Medical Centre Maintenance & Repairs

Knowledge, Experience & Additional Training:We offer ongoing regular training with OEMs in both Airconditioning, Refrigeration & Control systems as well as upskilling with additional training for EWP Certificate; Working at heights, just to name a few. To fill this role we would prefer a minimum of 2 yrs post trade experience, however,



if you would like to move to this area of the industry & are willing to learn, then please submit your application.

While you will report directly to the Working Director and the Service Co-ordinator , the role requires workers to work unsupervised & use their initiative to complete set tasks, while at the same time have the back up of the working directors 48 yrs of experience across all aspects of the trade. You will be required to work within the safe systems of work provided to complete the tasks. If you have completed UEE32111 Appliance Repairs & want more experience in the HVAC Industry, then we are very interested in having you join our team of HVAC professionals in Mackay.

Qualifications:

- Fully Qualified Refrigeration & Airconditioning Mechanic- Cert 3 in MEM or UEE Qualification;
- Current Qld Restricted Electrical licence or above including UEE32111 ( Cert 3 in Appliance Repair) restricted licence holders will be highly regarded
- Current Arctic Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Current Qld Drivers licence;
- White/Blue card
