Are you a qualified Air Conditioning Technician who’s good at what you do — but sick of feeling like just another installer?

At HOTT Electrics, we’re building something different.

We want great tradespeople to have the support, systems, apprentices, training and opportunities around them to do quality work without being smashed every day trying to do everything themselves.

We’re growing our Air Conditioning division and are looking for another experienced technician to join the team.

We already have a strong pipeline of local work across ducted systems, replacements, splits, upgrades and service work.

You’ll also have

- Apprentices supporting qualified tradespeople

- Dedicated sales and quoting support

- Admin handling the background workload

- Operations support to keep jobs moving

- Performance daily bonuses on top of your wage
- A new vehicle (Van or Ute)

- Training and development

- Modern systems, tools and processes

- Opportunities to progress into leadership or specialist roles

- Variety across Air Conditioning, Electrical and Home Energy projects

We’re not interested in burning positive tradespeople out.

We want our qualified technicians spending their time doing the skilled work they’re qualified to do, while building the next generation underneath them.

The work

You’ll be involved in

- Ducted air conditioning installations

- Split-system installations

- System replacements and upgrades

- Service and fault finding

- Residential air conditioning projects

- Commissioning and quality control





- Developing apprentices alongside you

Who we want

We’re looking for someone who:

- Takes genuine pride in their workmanship

- Is reliable and turns up when they say they will

- Can communicate confidently with customers

- Looks after apprentices rather than treating them like labourers

- Leaves jobs finished properly

- Wants to improve rather than coast

- Enjoys being part of a team

- Can work independently without needing constant supervision

You’ll need the relevant qualifications/licences and a current driver’s licence.
