Role details The Proserpine Hospital is seeking applications for an Allied Health Assistant (Pharmacy) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity To operate as a Pharmacy Assistant in partnership with registered Pharmacists in providing a range of professional support services for the Pharmacy Department. This is a permanent part-time role with some degree of flexibility over the days of the week and finish times.

About the Team The Whitsunday Health Service is made up of two facilities: The Community Health Campus - Cannonvale and the Hospital Campus - Proserpine. The hospital is a 33-bed acute hospital, which offers a number of specialty inpatient and outpatient services. The Community Health Campus offers a range of Community Health services provided by a multi-disciplinary team.

Our Pharmacy Service is based at the Proserpine Hospital and provides patient centred pharmacy services, five days a week.



Our pharmacy provides medication on hospital prescriptions for use while patients are in hospital.
