About the Company

ExeQution Analytics is a boutique consultancy company focused on trading analytics. We are headquartered in Sydney, with an office in London and our current location in Belfast. We specialise in the design, implementation and delivery of high availability analytic platforms and bespoke reports to aid and evaluate trading decisions, in all stages of the trading process.

We have expertise in the use of analytics for algorithmic trading, trading research analysis and market microstructure analysis and have established a reputation for delivering efficient and innovative solutions.

About the Role

You’ll design, build, and scale high‑performance analytics solutions for global financial institutions. Our consultants work on both greenfield and established platforms, delivering kdb+/q systems that power market data plants, trade execution analytics, quantitative research, and electronic trading.

What You’ll Work On

· Building and scaling kdb+/q data plants for real‑time and historical global market datasets

· Developing execution analytics for algorithmic trading, TCA, and market microstructure

· Designing and maintaining dataloaders, ingestion pipelines,



and analytics engines

· Creating APIs to support trading and analytics applications

· Implementing real‑time alerting and monitoring frameworks

· Building dashboards and visual analytics using KX Dashboards

· Working directly with Quants, Traders and Portfolio Managers

· Contributing to demos, RFPs, and client‑facing technical discussions

What We’re Looking For

We’re hiring across junior, mid, and senior levels, but all candidates must have:

· Commercial experience with kdb+/q

· Experience working with large financial datasets

· Ability to design and implement kdb+/q applications for analytics

· Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced environments

· Clear communication skills and comfort engaging with stakeholders

Nice to Have

· Knowledge of FX/FICC/Equities, Market Microstructure, or TCA

· Experience with Unix/Linux, shell scripting

· Familiarity with Torq, KX Dashboards, Jenkins, AWS, Python, SQL

· Exposure to development workflows (Git, Jira, Confluence)
