Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Apprentice Metal Fabricator to join our small team and develop a rewarding long-term career in manufacturing and engineering.

About the Apprenticeship This is a four-year Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade apprenticeship.
During the first three years, you will attend off-the-job training through a registered training organisation while gaining practical workplace experience. In your final year, you will continue developing your skills as a valued member of our production team.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gain experience in:
- MIG welding
- Stainless steel fabrication
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Metal cutting, drilling and assembly
- Fabrication of custom components and structures
- CNC press brake operation
- Laser cutting equipment
- Robotic welding systems
- CNC lathe operation
- Surface preparation and protective finishes
- Structural steel painting
- On-site installation work
- Modern manufacturing processes and quality systems
You will learn how to take an engineering drawing and turn it into a finished product used by customers throughout Australia.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine interest in engineering, manufacturing or fabrication
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work
- Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Has good communication skills
- Takes pride in producing quality work
- Works well in a team environment
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Enjoys problem solving and learning new skills
Desirable but Not Essential
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Manual driver's licence (if over 18)
- Experience using tools at home, school or through hobbies
- Ability to read basic technical drawings
- Completion of a school VET Engineering, Metalwork or Mechanical course
- Previous work experience in a workshop environment

Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am to 2:00pm
