Role Description The Assistant Accountant role is a part-time remote position supporting the finance function of ISRM Group. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing invoices and expenses, recording financial transactions, assisting with account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate ledgers. The role also supports preparation of financial reports, monitoring of income and expenditure, and helping ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards.

Accountant will collaborate with senior accounting staff to support month-end and year-end procedures,



respond to basic financial queries, and help refine documentation and filing practices for audits and internal reviews.

Qualifications

- Foundational accounting skills, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, such as Excel or similar tools, and the ability to manage digital financial records.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to follow structured financial processes and internal controls.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with a distributed team.
- Relevant education or certification in accounting, finance, or a related field (e.g., coursework toward ACCA, AAT, CPA, or equivalent) is beneficial.
- Experience in professional services, risk management, or a consulting environment is an advantage but not required.
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion in handling confidential information, and a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
