We’re looking for an Assistant Manager – Engineering to help keep every part of our hotel running beautifully, safely and seamlessly. From guest rooms and public spaces to plant, equipment and essential services, you’ll lead with a hands-on approach and a sharp eye for detail.

As Assistant Manager – Engineering, you will:

- Support the day-to-day operation of the Engineering department

- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance across the hotel

- Lead, coach and support our engineering colleagues

- Work closely with hotel departments to respond to maintenance needs

- Help manage contractors, compliance checks and safety requirements

- Maintain accurate records, logs and preventative maintenance schedules

- Contribute to energy efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives

- Support the Chief Engineer with projects and departmental priorities

You’ll bring
- Previous experience in hotel engineering, facilities or a similar workplace

- Experience supervising or leading a team





- Strong knowledge of building services, maintenance and workplace safety

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A calm, organised and practical approach

- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

- Relevant trade qualifications are highly regarded

- You must already have current and ongoing working rights for Australia
