We're looking for an experienced Underwriting Officer to join our Distribution Support team within Insurance Product & Distribution. In this role, you'll apply specialist underwriting knowledge to assess risks, support complex underwriting decisions, and deliver high-quality service and advice to both internal and external customers. This is a 6-12 month max-term full-time role based at our Eight-Mile Plains office in Meanjin (Brisbane).

What You'll Do

- Respond to remediation queries from customers and internal stakeholders
- Capture, validate, and update customer and policy details accurately across systems
- Conduct renewal reviews and low risk assessments
- Process minor manual remediation activities
- Update policies including endorsements and corrections
- Issue customer correspondence and letters following policy or remediation updates
- Perform basic policy administration tasks, including record maintenance and adjustments

What You'll Bring

- Experience within the insurance industry is essential
- Remediation exposure is desirable
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive,



adaptable and have excellent time management skills
