Assistant Store Manager I DOPA Regent Place

Are you a natural leader who enjoys bringing out the best in people?

As an Assistant Store Manager at DOPA, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and make sure the restaurant runs smoothly every day.

You'll be hands-on across both Front of House and Back of House, helping your team stay motivated, organised, and focused — especially when things get busy.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to grow their leadership skills and build a long-term career in hospitality.

What you'll be doing

- Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Leading, coaching, and motivating the team to deliver great service and quality food.
- Helping create a positive, respectful, and high-performing team culture.
- Making sure DOPA's service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards are consistently maintained.
- Supporting team members during busy service and stepping in wherever needed.




- Training and onboarding new team members and helping them feel confident in their role.
- Managing shifts, allocating team members, and making sure the restaurant is ready for service.
- Monitoring customer feedback and helping resolve any guest concerns professionally.
- Supporting stock control, ordering, wastage, and cost management.
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures and ensuring all daily tasks are completed.
- Working closely with the Store Manager and People & Culture team on team development, performance, and employee engagement.
- Helping identify opportunities to improve the way we work and creating a better experience for our guests and our people.

- Have previous hospitality or restaurant leadership experience.
- Enjoy leading, coaching, and supporting a team.
- Are confident making decisions and taking ownership.
- Stay calm, positive, and organised when things get busy.
- Lead by example and aren't afraid to get hands-on.
- Have excellent communication and people skills.
- Take pride in delivering great customer service and quality food.
- Are reliable, responsible, and have a strong work ethic.
