Associate Insurance Broker – Hospitality

- Flexible and hybrid environment in Sydney

What will you be doing?

As an Associate Insurance Broker, you will play a key support role in the management of hospitality insurance portfolios while delivering exceptional service to clients and insurers.

- Responsible for the preparation of insurance costing spreadsheets, invoicing, and debtor management processes.
- Support the management of insurance portfolios, including renewals and new business placements.
- Liaise with underwriters, review quotations, and act in the best interests of clients.
- Calculate premiums for new and existing business.
- Prepare and process renewal declarations, reports, quotations, insurance manuals, Certificates of Currency, and new business documentation.
- Calculate and process policy adjustments and additional premiums.
- Assist with the lodgement and management of claims under the guidance of senior team members.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.




- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
- The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, underwriters, and senior stakeholders.
- Interpersonal skills to build relationships and liaise with clients, the team, and senior management.

You will need the following experience and qualifications:

- Tier 1 qualification in Insurance Broking.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the insurance or broking industry.
- Demonstrated experience with invoicing processes and effective file management.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience with broking systems such as WinBEAT will be highly regarded.
