- Large industrial and distribution centres
- Data centres and technically demanding facilities
- Medical and healthcare developments
- Commercial buildings
- Low-rise and mid-rise structures
- Large warehouse and logistics facilities
- Tunnel-related structures
- Retaining walls and complex retaining structures
- Infrastructure-associated structural projects
- Selected mining-related structural work

This is not an Associate position where you simply manage a larger collection of projects. You will become one of the senior structural figures within the Sydney business.

Your responsibilities will include

- Leadership and development of the structural engineering team
- Technical oversight and design direction




- Managing significant structural projects from concept through construction
- Resource planning and management of project workloads
- Maintaining project quality, programmes and deliverables
- Developing and mentoring engineers
- Working directly with clients, architects and contractors
- Resolving complex technical and construction issues
- Strengthening existing client relationships
- Supporting proposals and business development
- Helping drive the continued growth of the Western Sydney structural operation

We are looking for an experienced structural engineer who combines strong technical capability with the ability to lead people. You should be comfortable making technical decisions, managing competing project priorities, dealing directly with clients and giving younger engineers the direction they need.

At Associate level, commercial awareness is also important. You will understand that successful consulting engineering is about more than producing good designs – projects need to be delivered efficiently, clients need to be looked after and teams need strong leadership.
