About us:

The Audiology Service within Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) provides diagnostic audiology services to children and adults referred from the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) service and the Healthy Hearing program.

About the role:

- Deliver advanced diagnostic audiology services to infants, children and adults across CQHHS, including complex outpatient and inpatient care, with a high degree of independent clinical judgement.

- Provide clinical leadership and expert guidance for complex and urgent cases, while mentoring and supervising Audiologists, Allied Health Assistants and other health professionals.

- Lead professional governance and service development for the Audiology Service, including evidence-based clinical practices, protocols, education and strategic direction.

- Drive service improvement, workforce development and innovation through data analysis, quality improvement initiatives, research, workforce planning and the development of innovative models of care.

About you:

- Hold a recognised tertiary degree in Audiology and be eligible for provisional or full membership with Audiology Australia.

- Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise and the ability to independently deliver high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centred diagnostic audiology services.

- Bring robust communication and organisational skills, with experience working in complex multidisciplinary environments and supporting innovative models of care.





- Provide effective leadership and operational management, including workforce planning, rostering, staff supervision, performance monitoring and sustainable service delivery.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $172,615 p.a. is comprised of:

- An hourly rate between $73.12 - $76.30 p.h.

- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
