Audiologist / Audiologist Intern – Jervis Bay Hearing Centre
Jervis Bay Hearing Centre is an independent, clinician‑led practice with more than 24 years of service to the Shoalhaven community. We are seeking a motivated Audiologist or Audiologist Intern to join our team and contribute to our high‑quality, evidence‑based hearing healthcare.
In this role, you will provide diagnostic hearing assessments, hearing aid fitting and verification, tinnitus and sound‑sensitivity management, cochlear implant, wax microsuction, and paediatric services. You will work within a supportive clinical environment that values best‑practice protocols, interdisciplinary collaboration, and genuine patient‑centred care. For interns, structured supervision and skill development are embedded into our model, ensuring confidence and capability across all core competencies.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Audiologist at Jervis Bay Hearing Centre. The Audiologist will be responsible for conducting hearing assessments, providing personalized hearing solutions, fitting hearing aids, offering counseling on hearing loss, and maintaining patient records. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Qualifications
- Hearing assessment and evaluation skills
- Experience in fitting and adjusting hearing aids
- Knowledge of hearing loss counseling techniques
- Ability to maintain detailed patient records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Master's degree in Audiology or related field
- Valid Audiology Qualified Practitioner Status for the state of NSW
- Experience working in a patient-centered care environment
