About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and hands-on Bar & Restaurant Manager to join our team and take a leading role in the day-to-day operation of our venue.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional food, drinks, service, and customer experiences. You will be responsible for leading the team, maintaining high service standards, managing venue operations, and helping drive sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of the bar and restaurant
- Lead, train, motivate, and manage front-of-house staff
- Ensure consistently high standards of customer service
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Coordinate staff rosters and manage labour costs
- Monitor stock levels, ordering, deliveries, and inventory control
- Manage beverage and food costs while minimising wastage
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol and compliance with all relevant regulations
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming venue
- Work closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth service
- Monitor sales and identify opportunities to increase revenue
- Assist with functions, events, promotions, and busy service periods
- Ensure company policies, health and safety requirements, and operating procedures are followed

About You We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience of One to Two Years as Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, Venue Manager, or similar hospitality management role
- Has strong leadership and people-management skills
- Is confident managing a busy venue and high-volume service
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Understands rostering, stock control, cost management, and hospitality operations
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Can remain calm and professional under pressure
- Has a strong work ethic and a hands-on management style
- Is reliable, professional, and well presented
- Is available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

RSA certification is required. A current Food Safety Supervisor certificate and/or hospitality management qualification will be highly regarded.

Pay: $58,471.72 – $86,214.68 per year
