Bartenders and Waitstaff – New Gold Coast Store | Opening Mid-October

Third Wave BBQ, one of Melbourne’s leading American BBQ restaurants, is coming to the Gold Coast. Known for smoked meats, excellent cocktails and a fun, fast-paced atmosphere, we’re building a team for our new Gold Coast store, opening in mid-October. We’re looking for enthusiastic bartenders and waitstaff to join us.

Successful candidates will need to be available for training and onboarding before opening.

Your Role

Bartenders

- Prepare cocktails, beers and other beverages efficiently
- Recommend drinks that pair well with our BBQ menu
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar
- Ensure the responsible service of alcohol

Waitstaff

- Welcome guests and guide them through the menu
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Deliver food and beverages promptly
- Provide attentive and friendly service throughout the guest experience





Shared Responsibilities

- Process orders and payments using our POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the venue
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service during busy shifts
- Help establish a positive and professional culture in the new store

What We’re Looking For

- Current Queensland RSA certificate
- At least one year of hospitality experience preferred
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability across evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Availability for pre-opening training and onboarding
