As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly capable Bid & Proposal Manager to lead the development of compelling, compliant and winning submissions that drive our strategic growth.

About the Role

As the Bid & Proposal Manager, you will own the end-to-end bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through to submission and post-bid reviews. Working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts and executive stakeholders, you will transform technical expertise into persuasive customer-focused proposals.

You will also play a key role in building Sovereign Capability Group's bid capability by developing proposal frameworks, content libraries, evidence repositories and AI-enabled tools that improve efficiency, consistency and win rates.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Leadership & Management

- Lead and manage the complete tender and proposal process.
- Coordinate RFIs, RFQs, EOIs, RFTs and other customer submissions.
- Develop bid plans, schedules,



governance activities and review processes.
- Manage contributions from SMEs, pricing teams, legal advisors and executives.
- Ensure submissions are compliant, compelling and aligned to customer requirements.

Content & Knowledge Management

- Develop and maintain proposal templates, style guides and best practices.
- Manage Sovereign Capability Group's proposal knowledge base and evidence repository.
- Ensure claims and supporting information are accurate, evidenced and customer-focused.
- Drive content reuse and efficiency across pursuits.

Continuous Improvement

- Monitor bid performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Leverage AI-enabled solutions to improve proposal quality and productivity.
- Facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement activities following submissions.

About You

You are a highly organised proposal professional who combines strong writing capability with exceptional stakeholder management skills.

You will bring

- Demonstrated experience managing complex bids, tenders and proposals.
- Experience supporting Government or Defence sector pursuits.
- Strong project management and coordination capability.
- Exceptional writing, editing and content synthesis skills.




- High attention to detail and compliance requirements.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to understand customer priorities.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and coordinating multiple contributors.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills and confidence utilising AI-enabled tools.
- APMP Certification or equivalent bid management qualification (desirable)
