Bookkeeper – Casual to Start | Room to Grow with the Business

We’re a small but growing business looking for an experienced and proactive Bookkeeper who’s keen to do more than just balance the books.

This is a casual role to start, with the potential to increase hours over time. Ideal for someone who is returning to the workforce and wants flexibility but is also looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with the business.

✅ About the Role In this role, you’ll work closely with our clients, who are small business owners, to manage their day-to-day financial processes and systems. Your responsibilities will vary depending on the client, and can include:

- Bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Payroll processing and superannuation
- BAS preparation and lodgment support
- Management reporting support
- Spreadsheet development and data analysis (Excel)
- Assisting with reporting and financial admin
- Suggesting and implementing process improvements
- As a small business ourselves, we are keen to hire someone who is also interested in helping us with our own internal processes,



including assisting with Social Media content and posting

?‍♀️ About You To be successful in this role, you’ll be:

- Qualified – Minimum Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting
- Experienced – Ideally 2+ years in a similar role
- Tech-savvy – Proficient with Xero and MYOB and confident in Microsoft Excel
- Independent – Able to work without day to day supervision
- Solutions-focused – You see problems as puzzles, not roadblocks
- Trustworthy & detail-oriented – Accuracy matters to you
- Growth-minded – Keen to take on more responsibility over time
- Bonus points if you have a knack for Canva or writing short LinkedIn/Facebook captions!
