Mine & Tunnel Ventilation Pty Ltd (MTV) are currently recruiting a Boilermaker/Welder based in our Welshpool facility, to provide us with an additional capacity assembling and refurbishing current and used Ventilation Fans for the Mining and Tunnelling industries, throughout Australia.

This is an opportunity for a competent trade's person to optimise their skills and expertise within a growing company. You will apply your Boilermaker/Welder knowledge in a variety of situations within the workshop.

The Position:

Mine and Tunnel Ventilation are currently recruiting a Boilermaker/Welder to join our team in a full time permanent position based out of our Welshpool facility.

The primary duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:

- Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components for industrial projects.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair damaged or faulty metal structures.
- Maintain and clean equipment and tools.

Required Skills/Experience/Attributes:

- Proven experience as a Boilermaker/Welder.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASME, AWS, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and metal fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.




- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
