Offshore Hospitality is a proudly WA family-owned business with more than 90 employees across two hospitality venues, Island Market Trigg and Canteen Trigg.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper / Payroll Officer to join our team. This is a hands-on, stand-alone position responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, reporting and fortnightly payroll.

You will work closely with our HR Manager and play an important role in ensuring the smooth and accurate management of our financial and payroll functions.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include

- Managing end-to-end fortnightly payroll using Tanda Payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Interpreting and applying the Restaurant Industry Award, including overtime, penalty rates, shift loadings, allowances and leave entitlements.
- Ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislation, ATO requirements, STP, PAYG, superannuation and company policies.
- Completing payroll reconciliations, reporting, month-end processing and EOFY activities.
- Managing Accounts Payable, including supplier invoices, credit notes, payment runs and supplier account maintenance.
- Managing Accounts Receivable and ensuring transactions are accurately recorded.
- Completing daily bank reconciliations and investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end financial processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Completing monthly stocktakes and COGS reporting.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential financial and employee records.
- Working closely with management and HR to identify and resolve payroll and accounting issues.





About You We are looking for someone who is experienced, organised and confident working independently.

You will have:

- Proven experience processing end-to-end payroll.
- Sound knowledge of STP, PAYG, superannuation and payroll tax.
- Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations and general bookkeeping/accounting.
- A strong understanding of Australian GST and payroll-related obligations.
- Robust Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- A positive, practical and team-oriented attitude.

The following experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential:

- Experience using Tanda Payroll (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of the National Employment Standards (NES) and Restaurant Industry Award.
- Experience using PowerEPOS (or equivalent).
- Experience using Restoke (or equivalent).
