BREAKFAST & LUNCH VENUE MANAGER

Tio Tapas & Bar in Mornington is expanding.

As we introduce a current breakfast and café offering at our Mornington venue, we're looking for an experienced Breakfast & Lunch Venue Manager to take ownership of our daytime operation and help us build it from the ground up.

This is an opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who understands the fast pace, consistency and attention to detail required to run a successful café and breakfast service.

You'll work closely with ownership and our kitchen team to establish Tio Mornington as a destination not only for tapas, wine and dinner, but also for great coffee, breakfast and lunch.

The role will include

- Managing the day-to-day breakfast and lunch operation
- Leading, training and motivating our FOH and barista team
- Maintaining excellent coffee, food and service standards
- Managing opening procedures and daily venue presentation
- Rostering and controlling labour costs
- Stock management, ordering and supplier coordination
- Ensuring smooth and efficient service during busy breakfast and lunch periods
- Developing strong relationships with our local Mornington customers
- Working closely with the breakfast chef and management team
- Helping develop and grow the new breakfast and café side of the business
- Identifying opportunities to increase sales, repeat customers and takeaway trade





About you We're particularly interested in someone who has previously managed or supervised a busy café, breakfast venue or quality daytime restaurant operation.

You'll ideally have

- Previous café or restaurant management experience
- Strong knowledge of breakfast and café operations
- Barista and coffee knowledge
- Excellent people-management skills
- Strong rostering and labour-management experience
- A hands-on management style – you'll be on the floor with your team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good commercial awareness
- Current Victorian RSA
- A genuine interest in helping build and develop a growing hospitality business

What we offer
- Full-time or Part-time management position
- Predominantly breakfast and lunch hours
- Salary starting from $70,000 + super, negotiable depending on experience
