The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KBCCI) is looking for an enthusiastic and approachable Business Adviser to join our team and deliver services through the SBDC Regional Program across Kalgoorlie-Boulder and the wider Goldfields region.

This is a rewarding and varied role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships and making a genuine difference in the local business community. As Business Adviser, you will work directly with small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs, providing practical guidance, support and connections to help them navigate the challenges of starting, running and growing a business.

About the Role

No two days will be the same. You’ll meet with local business owners, provide one-on-one business support, connect clients with relevant services and resources, and help deliver workshops, events and initiatives designed to strengthen small business capability across the region.

You’ll also be out and about in the community, building relationships with businesses and stakeholders, attending local events and helping ensure the needs and experiences of regional small businesses are heard and understood.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Is passionate about small business and the Goldfields community
- Is confident, friendly and comfortable talking with people from all walks of life
- Has strong communication and relationship-building skills




- Can listen to a business owner’s challenges and provide practical, skilled support
- Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple clients and priorities
- Has an understanding of business operations or experience in business, management, administration, finance, marketing or a related field
- Enjoys networking, community engagement and representing an organisation professionally
- Is willing to travel within the region when required
- Has strong computer and general administration skills

Previous experience working with small businesses or in a business advisory role would be highly regarded; however, we are equally interested in finding the right person with strong business knowledge, initiative and a genuine desire to support our local community. Why Join KBCCI?
