About the role

KB Commercial Services is a growing commercial cleaning and specialist services business, and we're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to take ownership of new business growth. This is not an account-management role where you wait for leads to arrive. You'll have the opportunity to help shape our sales pipeline and grow with the business as we expand.

Key responsibilities

- Prospecting and generating your own B2B opportunities
- Building relationships with facility and property managers and commercial decision-makers
- Identifying multi-site and recurring contract opportunities
- Conducting outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach and face-to-face prospecting
- Attending client meetings and site inspections
- Following up leads and converting opportunities into signed work
- Identifying suitable tenders and commercial contract opportunities
- Maintaining and managing a healthy sales pipeline
- Working directly with the business owner on pricing, proposals and growth opportunities
- Developing long-term relationships that create repeat and recurring revenue

About you

- Genuine track record in B2B business development and recent-client acquisition
- Experience in commercial cleaning, facilities management, property services, hospitality services, building services or a related B2B service industry
- Confident new-business hunter




- Comfortable generating your own leads
- Strong at getting in front of decision-makers
- Commercially minded and results focused
- Confident negotiating and closing business
- Able to work autonomously and manage your own pipeline
- Motivated by targets and uncapped earning potential
- Professional enough to represent KB Commercial Services with corporate and commercial clients
