Perth DEXA Scan is a growing business that offers body composition and bone density scanning, with clinics across the Perth metro area. We help clients track their health with fast, accurate DEXA scans, and we are expanding into new locations as demand for our services grows.

Our current locations include Perth CBD, Cannington, Mirrabooka, Joondalup, Fremantle, and Subiaco.

About the role

We are looking for a Business Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of Perth DEXA Scan (PDS) and help with the ongoing stages of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys leading a team, problem solving, and thinking & planning where the business goes next.

You will have full ownership of rostering, hiring, performance management, and team culture across all clinics, and act as the main point of contact between the team and senior leadership. You will also delegate and oversee a broader set of operational tasks, from staff training and equipment troubleshooting through to new clinic openings and marketing activity, while keeping a light touch on the more routine tasks once they are running smoothly.

The role tasks

- Rostering, hiring, onboarding, and performance management across the whole PDS team
- Build and maintain team culture
- Act as the main communication link between the team and the Group Manager
- Manage compliance across the business, including workplace health and safety and radiological council requirements
- Manage relationships with clients, referring professionals, and clinic partners
- Oversee payroll and cost control across clinics
- Delegate and quality-check staff training, equipment troubleshooting, and reporting standards
- Plan and guide new clinic openings,



including contracts, registration, refurbishment, and staffing
- Plan and delegate marketing activity
- Track performance and report on KPIs to support growth decisions

We are looking for someone with:

- Commercial or business operations knowledge, ideally gained in a newer or start-up style business
- An understanding of marketing strategy
- Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, staff, and suppliers
- A growth mentality, both for the business and for your own development
- A background in health highly regarded, for example a nursing background
- Experience leading a team across multiple sites
- A drivers licence, as this role covers multiple Perth metro locations
