Hays is partnering with a well-regarded government organisation seeking an experienced Senior Business Process Improvement Lead to drive a critical process improvement initiative within a Compliance & Enforcement environment. This is an prospect to lead discovery, analysis, and future-state design activities while applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve operational efficiency, standardisation, and business outcomes.
Your New Role
As the Senior Business Process Improvement Lead, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end business process improvement activities, engaging with stakeholders at both operational and executive levels, and developing recommendations that will support future transformation initiatives. You will analyse current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, facilitate workshops, and design future-state operating models and business processes.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading discovery and delivery planning activities
- Facilitating stakeholder interviews and workshops
- Documenting current-state processes and identifying pain points
- Assessing legacy systems and process variations
- Applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify improvement opportunities
- Developing future-state process maps and business design recommendations
- Defining business requirements for technology-enabled transformation initiatives
- Producing executive-level reports,
recommendations, and decision papers
- Identifying standardisation opportunities across business functions
What You'll Need to Succeed To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:
- Extensive Business Analysis and process improvement leadership experience
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent)
- Strong current-state and future-state process mapping capabilities
- Experience facilitating workshops with operational and executive stakeholders
- Proven ability to identify process optimisation and standardisation opportunities
- Experience developing business requirements and transformation recommendations
- Strong executive reporting and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working within government, regulatory, compliance, enforcement, or similarly governed environments will be highly regarded
