MOONAH MEAT & GROCERIES We are seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team at Moonah Meat & Groceries. As a full-time Butcher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high quality and standard of our meat products.

responsibilities Cut, prepare, and package various cuts of meat (beef, lamb, goat, poultry, etc.) with precision and care Work directly with our in-house processed beef, ensuring it meets the highest standards and showcasing the quality of our product Maintain a clean and organised workspace following food safety and hygiene standards Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers to offer advice on meat selection and preparation, while reflecting our ethos in your interactions Ensure all products are stored properly and manage stock levels, always keeping sustainability in mind Assist with inventory and ordering supplies Maintain equipment and ensure it is in valuable working order Selecting and preparing meat to produce smallgoods Operating machines to grind, mix, mince and tenderise meat Qualification &





experience Proven experience as a qualified butcher, with an understanding of different cuts and meat preparation techniques A deep understanding and appreciation of food safety regulations and best practices Exceptional knife skills and the ability to work with various equipment with care and precision Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to reflect our commitment to quality in every customer interaction The ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team, sharing in the pride of our products and processes A passion for high-quality, ethically raised meat and a genuine desire to contribute to our paddock-to-plate philosophy
