Milner Meat & Seafood is a progressive and contemporary butchering business operating a Wholesale Division and a busy retail Store in the Alice Springs area. We sell a diverse range of meat,seafood and gourmet smallgoods products. Producing many of our own products and breaking carcass meat for resale. We have two locations. Our retail store at the corner of Milner Road and Gason Street Alice Springs and our wholesale division at 4/2 Kennett Court Alice Springs

About the role The role will vary depending on placement in wholesale or retail but may include any of the following. We have postions for Butchers, Smallgood makers, Boners & Slicers, Meat processing postions & apprenticeships through Charles Darwin University.

Persons will be completing the following roles:

Liaising with customers over the phone and take orders

Serving and advising customers of their meat needs.

Processing and packing meat orders for dispatch to customer requirements

Stock rotation & uphold HACCP standards





May be required to do deliveries Selecting and preparing meat products by cutting trimming & value adding.

Breaking of carcass meat

Overtime available. Our retail shop operates from Monday to Saturday. Opening hours are from 7 am to 5.30 pm. Wholesale division operates from 5 am to approximately 2pm

Qualified Butchers or previous experience in the butchering industry is preferable.

Person should have a high standard of customer service.

Be enthusiastic to learn new products and techniques

We upskill candidates who have some experience and show enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. We adult apprenticeships.
