We are a locally owned and operated southern Gold Coast hospitality business operating two busy beachside cafes, with the iconic Cafe Kirra trading from the same location for more than 20 years.

We are looking for an experienced, talented Cafe All Rounder for a minimum of 35 hours per week. The role is for an experienced hospitality person and will be remunerated as per the National Restaurant Award including all applicable penalty rates and superannuation payments.

As a Cafe All Rounder you will have excellent Barista skills and a broad hospitality skill set ensuring the ability to perform all front of house job requirements within a fast paced setting. You will join a well established team who will be able to offer the initial support and guidance necessary to be successful in the role.

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to)

- Customer service and experience management
- Barista
- Stock control
- Point of Sale / order taking
- Table management
- Juice Bar understanding and operation
- Maintaining regulated cleaning and health standards

To be considered for the role you must have the following -




- A passion for customer service and motivated work ethic.
- 2-3 years experience in a similar fast paced hospitality environment.
- Demonstrated and referenced success in the set key responsibilities
- Solid Barista skills (approx 70kgs per week), including latte art.
- Prior experience with industry POS systems.
- High attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and mornings.
- Full understanding of Work Safe industry practices
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
- Australian residency

Weekend availability is a must. The role will offer the right person the ability for advancement after continued demonstrated success in each Key Performance Area.
