Noke Group | Hunter Valley & Newcastle Noke Group is growing, and we’re looking for hospitality leaders, experienced baristas and floor staff to join our teams across the Hunter Valley and Newcastle.

Our hospitality management opportunities include Cafe Manager, Assistant Cafe Manager and Cafe Supervisorpositions, with roles suited to your experience and leadership skills.

Your New Position

We’re recruiting across three areas, with training and onboarding to help you learn our venues, operations and service standards.

Hospitality Management

We’re looking for people ready to lead as a Cafe Manager, Assistant Cafe Manager or Cafe Supervisor. Whether you’re an experienced manager or a supervisor ready for your next step, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll work closely with our owners and venue teams to support daily operations, lead great service and help staff develop. Depending on your position and experience, responsibilities will include:





- Leading shifts and maintaining strong food, coffee and presentation standards.
- Managing or supporting rosters, staff performance and development.
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and training.
- Overseeing cash handling, store checks and daily administration.
- Resolving customer concerns and leading by example on the floor.

Multi-Site Baristas Bring your coffee skills to our venues across the Hunter Valley and Newcastle, working confidently with different teams.

- Prepare consistently high-quality coffee during busy service periods.
- Adjust grinders and maintain extraction and milk-texturing standards.
- Keep equipment and work areas clean and organised.
- Deliver friendly service and support the floor team when needed.
- Adapt to each venue’s workflow while maintaining Noke Group standards.

Floor Staff Help make every guest feel welcome, from their first greeting to their last interaction.

- Welcome customers, take orders and serve food and drinks.
- Process payments accurately and confidently.
- Maintain clean, organised and well-presented dining areas.
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and barista teams.
- Support smooth service and respond thoughtfully to customer requests.

What You Need to Succeed

Across all roles, we’re looking for:
- A passion for hospitality,



food, coffee and customer service.
- Reliability, explicit communication and a team-first attitude.
- Confidence working through busy service periods.
- Flexibility to work across our Hunter Valley and Newcastle venues.
- Reliable transport between locations.
- Availability for shifts that include weekends and public holidays.

For hospitality management roles: Previous experience managing, supervising or leading shifts in a cafe or hospitality venue, strong organisational skills and confident barista skills. We welcome experienced managers, assistant managers and supervisors, including those ready to step into a role with greater responsibility. For barista roles: Experience making high-quality coffee in a busy cafe, with strong grinder adjustment, extraction and milk-texturing skills.

For floor roles: A friendly, proactive approach and a willingness to learn. Previous hospitality or customer service experience is valued.
