St John of God Bunbury Hospital has been providing high-quality, compassionate health care to the people of Bunbury and the surrounding communities since 1927.

With 145 beds and more than 330 highly qualified medical practitioners, our hospital caters for a variety of medical and surgical admissions and palliative care, plus allied health and community-based services.

About the role In this hands-on leadership role, you will supervise café operations while supporting food preparation, merchandising, internal catering services and stock management. You will provide coaching and guidance to café team members, promote a culture of service excellence and help deliver business improvement initiatives that enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

- Leading and supervising the daily operations of the Café and Kiosk.
- Supporting hot and cold food production to menu standards.
- Ensuring excellent customer service through efficient service delivery.
- Coordinating and accurately fulfilling internal catering orders.
- Training, coaching and supporting café team members.
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Managing stock, merchandising and product presentation.
- Assisting with rostering requirements and operational improvements.
- Supporting menu development and customer engagement activities.
- Ensuring the security of cash, stock and equipment.

You will bring strong food service knowledge, a commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to support and motivate colleagues in a fast-paced environment. You will have experience in food preparation and service, sound food safety knowledge, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Well organised and adaptable,



you will have strong communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting daily café and catering operations.

We can offer you

- Salary: $71,369 to $72635, plus 12% superannuation
- A Full Time position, working 38 hours per week
