Bull Motor Bodies builds aluminium canopies, trays, toolboxes and service bodies for utes across Australia, including the new Ford Super Duty, Toyota LandCruiser and HiLux, and Isuzu D-Max.

We are looking for a Canopy Assembler to join our Wingfield workshop on a full-time permanent basis.

What you will actually be doing

Working from jigs and straightforward technical drawings, you will take aluminium components through to a finished canopy or tray body:

- Preparing components and assembling them into finished body shells
- Riveting, gluing, grinding and caulking
- Working with jigs, hand tools and power tools
- Fitting accessories, shelving, drawers and hardware
- Checking your own work against the drawing before it moves on
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and secure

What we are looking for You do not need a trade qualification. You need to be good with tools and willing to learn:

- Confident using hand tools and power tools
- Able to follow a basic technical drawing or a written assembly instruction




- Accurate and consistent, because these bodies go straight onto customer vehicles
- Reliable, and you turn up on time
- A team player who looks out for the people working next to you

Any of the following will help, but we will teach you the rest: automotive, fabrication or sheet metal work, shopfitting, carpentry, cabinet making, boat building, caravan or trailer manufacturing, vehicle accessory fitting, or general hand and warehouse experience. What's in it for YOU
