THE ROLE
Labour Connect is seeking experienced and dependable Forklift Drivers to join a busy international freight terminal based in Mascot.
Working within a fast-paced cargo environment, you will be responsible for supporting daily freight operations, ensuring cargo is moved safely, efficiently, and on time.
This is an excellent prospect for someone looking to build a long-term career within the aviation and logistics industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operating forklifts to unload aircraft units and freight
- Moving and handling international cargo within a secure terminal environment
- Assisting with sorting, scanning and manual handling of freight
- Ensuring all safety and operational procedures are followed
- Working collaboratively within a high-performing team
ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Full Australian working rights (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred)
- Current LF Forklift Licence and Drivers License Required
- Minimum 1 year forklift operating experience
- Full availability for a rotating 24/7 roster, including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Ability to complete manual handling tasks (25kg–35kg)
- Strong reliability and attendance record
- Reliable transport to and from Mascot
