Ensure & Construct is seeking a reliable and experienced Carpenter to join our team in a full-time position based in Yeppoon, servicing projects across the Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton region.

We undertake a variety of residential construction work, including new homes, renovations, insurance repairs and building rectification projects.

Key responsibilities

- General residential carpentry, framing, fix-out and finishing work
- Renovation, alteration and extension works
- Installation of doors, windows, cladding, decking and internal finishes
- Reading plans and completing work accurately
- Coordinating with subcontractors and other trades on site
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe worksite
- Identifying issues early and communicating clearly with the project team
- Delivering consistently high-quality workmanship

The ideal applicant will have:
- A recognised carpentry trade qualification
- Relevant residential construction experience




- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Construction White Card
- Their own standard tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in their workmanship
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication, time-management and problem-solving skills
- A dependable attitude and commitment to turning up consistently

This is a full time opportunity with ongoing work, varied projects and the potential to grow into greater responsibility within an expanding construction company. Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience, capability and qualifications. Pay: Up to $61.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 48.0 per week
