About the Prospect

Here’s your chance to join the team at Scotchmans Hill, one of Australia’s leading wineries on the stunning Bellarine Peninsula. We’re seeking a Casual Chef to work alongside our Head Chef and in conjunction with other senior kitchen staff — this is a casual position primarily Friday to Sunday giving a work life balance.

What We’re Looking For

- A highly competent and experienced casual chef to help run our busy kitchen
- Ongoing role and does carry the expectation of being able to help cover all aspects of kitchen management

- Stock ordering
- General organisation when the head chef is absent




- A strong work ethic and eye for detail
- Competent on larder, pans and grill sections

- Remain calm under pressure
- Able to lead service when required, communicate effectively with kitchen and floor staff
- A positive and respectful attitude
- An average of 25 hours per week, increasing into the summer peak season

- Above all, a love of cooking great produce driven cuisine and a passion for the industry
