Botanical Resources Australia is a leader in premium crop production, and we’re looking for a motivated Farm Assistant to join our friendly team at our Hagley farming hub in North-West Tasmania. Working with well‑maintained, modern tractors and irrigation systems—including pivot, linear and hard‑hose irrigators—you’ll play a key role in helping us deliver consistently high‑yielding, high‑quality crops.

About the Role:

In this hands-on position, you’ll support the day‑to‑day operations across our managed farms, contributing to the success of potato, vegetable, broadacre and pyrethrum crops. You’ll work closely with a small, supportive team that values safety, communication and pride in their work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Operating modern tractors and farm machinery

- Assisting with crop irrigation using pivot, linear and hard‑hose systems

- Supporting spraying operations

- Carrying out general farm duties to maximise crop yield and quality





- Maintaining accurate records and managing your daily tasks effectively

What You’ll Bring:

- Demonstrated experience operating tractors

- Experience with sprayer operation
- A valid driver’s licence

- Hands-on experience with crop irrigation

- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Reliability, enthusiasm and great communication skills

- Basic computer literacy

- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
