Beaumont Tiles is seeking a commercially minded and strategic Category Manager to join our Buying team at our Adelaide National Support Office.

Reporting to the National Buyer, you will take ownership of an assigned product category, overseeing sourcing, buying, quality and delivery to support strong sales and profitability outcomes. You will lead the category strategy, use market and customer insights to identify opportunities, and build a product portfolio positioned for sustainable growth.

The Role

As Category Manager, you will develop and implement long-term plans for your category, working closely with suppliers and teams across the business to deliver competitive, relevant and profitable product solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Develop and execute category strategies that drive sales growth, profitability and market competitiveness
- Build strong supplier partnerships while managing product sourcing, quality, availability and pricing outcomes
- Analyse market trends, customer insights and performance data to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
- Lead product lifecycle management, including range reviews, new product introductions and exit strategies
- Partner with Marketing, Sales and operational teams to deliver successful product launches, promotions and category initiatives
- Manage category budgets,



contribute to business planning and support the delivery of commercial objectives
- Communicate product updates, support training initiatives and represent Beaumont Tiles at relevant industry events and trade fairs

About You

- Demonstrated experience in category management, buying, product management or a similar commercially focused role
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Sound analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- The ability to forecast customer and market needs to support product availability
- Strong supplier management and negotiation capabilities
- An understanding of pricing, margin and profitability drivers
- Awareness of product, customer and competitor trends
