At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), we are committed to Trusted Care, Better Health for Everyone, and we are seeking a dedicated Patient Liaison Officer to support the delivery of high-quality services through expert administrative support and positive patient experiences.

About the Opportunity

As a Patient Liaison Officer, you will provide high-level administrative and customer service support to ensure the effective delivery of services within the department. Acting as a key point of contact for patients, staff, and stakeholders, you will contribute to efficient workflows, positive patient experiences, and the achievement of departmental objectives.

In this role you will:

- Provide efficient administrative support, including document preparation, records management, meeting coordination, and minute taking.
- Manage competing priorities and workflows to ensure the timely delivery of departmental services and outcomes.
- Respond to patient and stakeholder enquiries, providing accurate information and escalating matters appropriately.
- Interpret and apply relevant policies, procedures, legislation, and guidelines to support operational requirements.
- Undertake patient billing processes and assist senior staff with tasks, projects, and quality improvement initiatives.

This is a temporary 12-month position working a rotating 4-week roster. Applicants must be available to work weekends and be willing to work across Central Coast Local Health District locations as required. Experience in sales, customer service, and Private Health Insurance is highly regarded.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:





- Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative and customer service support in a busy environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and legislation to achieve service outcomes.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
