Lead Something Extraordinary from Day One
Giggle and Learn Early Childcare & Education is seeking an exceptional Centre Director to lead the opening of our brand-new, purpose-built 80-place Early Learning Centre in Smeaton Grange.
This is more than a Centre Director role—it's an chance to create something extraordinary from the ground up. About the Role
Working closely with the Approved Provider and Leadership Team, you will lead the successful establishment, operation and ongoing success of our newest service.
You will have the unique opportunity to build a centre your way—creating systems, establishing a positive culture and leading a team committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for children and families.
Your Responsibilities
· Coordinate the successful establishment and opening of our brand-new service.
· Create welcoming, engaging and inspiring learning environments aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
· Source educational resources, furniture and equipment that support high-quality learning experiences.
· Recruit, onboard and mentor a passionate team of educators.
· Foster a positive, cooperative and respectful workplace culture.
· Support professional growth through coaching, mentoring and performance development.
· Lead by example and create an environment where educators feel valued, supported and empowered.
· Oversee the daily operations of the service.
· Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law, National Regulations and service policies.
· Champion continuous quality improvement and best practice.
· Support meaningful programming, planning cycles and educational documentation.
· Maintain a safe, healthy and welcoming environment for children, families and staff.
· Develop meaningful relationships with families from enrolment onwards.
· Foster open communication and genuine collaboration.
· Build connections within the local community that strengthen the service.
· Create a welcoming environment where every child and family experiences a true sense of belonging.
· Monitor occupancy, budgeting and centre performance.
· Manage resources effectively while maintaining exceptional quality.
· Identify opportunities for growth, innovation and continuous improvement.
About You

Essential Requirements
· Minimum five years' experience in Early Childhood Education and Care.
· Minimum two years' experience in a Centre Director, Assistant Director or equivalent leadership position.
· Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher.
· Comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law, National Regulations and NSW Child Safe Standards.
· Current NSW Working With Children Check.
· Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
· Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
