About the role

EAB CORPORATION PTY LTD trading as Breeze Cafe & Bar is seeking an experienced and dedicated Full-Time Chef and Cook to join the kitchen team.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare, season and cook a variety of café meals and dishes in accordance with established recipes and menu standards.
- Monitor the quality of ingredients and dishes throughout preparation, cooking and presentation.
- Assist with menu preparation and contribute ideas for seasonal menus and daily specials.
- Portion, plate and present dishes consistently to maintain Breeze Cafe & Bar's food quality and presentation standards.
- Plan and develop menus, estimate food requirements, and contribute to the development of new dishes, seasonal menus and daily specials.
- Monitor stock levels, food requirements and kitchen wastage, and assist with ordering food supplies.
- Operate ovens, grills and other commercial cooking equipment and monitor cooking times and temperatures.
- Store and handle food appropriately, including maintaining required temperature controls.
- Prepare meals to accommodate customer dietary requirements where required.
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient preparation and service of meals.

About you





- Relevant industry qualification required.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Available to work weekends and public holidays as required.
- Reliable, flexible and able to work effectively in a busy café and bar setting.
- Positive and professional with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about preparing and presenting consistently high-quality food.
- Able to maintain quality and efficiency during busy service periods.
