About the role

Gambaro Hospitality Group is seeking a talented Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team at Black Hide Queen's Wharf in Brisbane on a casual basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen setting at one of Brisbane's premier dining destinations. As Pastry Chef de Partie, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the pastry section and help deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests.

What you'll bring:

- Ability to prepare and present high-quality desserts, plated desserts, pastries, cakes, baked goods,
- Pantry skills essential; trade qualification necessary.
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and maintain consistent product quality.
- Reliable and available to work 15 hours per week, increasing during peak season
- Available for night shifts and ideally one full day on Sunday or Monday
- Willingness to run other section if needed (manly cold section, or platting in pan section when busy)
- Working efficiently during high-pressure periods and peak service times,



maintaining composure and attention to detail
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture and supporting the broader team to achieve excellence
