MUST HAVE:

- Weekend Availability, normal trading hours are Wednesday - Sunday for dinner service only.
- Experience with Italian cuisine.
- Experience with cold larder section.
- Experience with dessert section is an added bonus.
- NSW Drivers license, and or own mode of transport to and from venue.
- Impeccable modern plating skills.
- Highly organized individual.
- Clean presentation.

Tasks for the Role of Cooks will include:

- Preparing/plating dishes from the menu and executing to a high level of accuracy cooked dishes during service.
- Tasting dishes to ensure the correct flavors before sending food to the customer.
- Ensuring stored food is kept at the correct temperatures and that stock is correctly rotated through the fridges and storage areas.
- Where necessary following direction to ensure dietary requirement are met when needed.
- You may be required to have input into the planning of new menu items.
- You will be required once trained to help train recent kitchen team member.
- Competently execute food preparation whilst following the correct procedures for temperature controls,



food storage, stock rotation, cleanliness and hygiene.
- Maintain the quality standard of all dishes during both food preparation and the execution of finished dishes during service.
- Have an input into menu planning and ordering food supplies for the new dishes.
- Demonstrating the appropriate cooking techniques based to the level of your role within the kitchen.
- Running a section in the kitchen whilst supervising other chefs and cooks to ensure that the quality of the dishes is in keeping with the standards of the business.
- Train new kitchen staff members that join the team.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
